So many changes have happened since I last wrote. My mom is selling her house, I went to a prom, I witnessed/was in a bad car accident (my car was destroyed), I turned 19, I got a new VW Beetle, my brother graduated from high school, I quit my job, Sue came to visit and Yahcob and I moved into an apartment in Portland. It's been crazy. He and I will be starting school up here next month, and I may have figured out a (new and improved) plan for my future. Here we go again. I'm also still dating Bam. <3
I will save a great deal of time, energy and money if I stay in Portland to do sign language. My school has an ASL program that includes two opportunities for internships (one is required) and will provide me with a certificate to interpret. Also, the apartment is in a perfect location. Yahcob will start his first year of college and will also have many more opportunities for acting auditions. We've also both had part-time job offers here! We are pretty much set.
I should have much more time to write and make videos and just enjoy myself starting in September. In less than two days, my brothers and I are taking a trip to Boston! Then I'll take one last visit to good 'ole Central Oregon before finally (truly) settling into Portland for good. I'm so excited for this new chapter, and I cannot wait to see how I'll grow from it.
